I was very pleased with the the friendliness of the person doing the interview and the whole process was relatively good experience. mostly just questions of how we met and and how well we new each other, We took several photo albums and wedding album wich she looked through all and asked some question about some. then asked us what document we wanted to give her as proof of relationship. Utility bills, bank statements, car titles in both names, health insurance and life insurance statements showing wife as beneficiary etc..
when done she smiled and said we would receive the green card in 2-6 weeks.
checked case status online next day and it showed new card being produced, next day after that it showed case approved

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Arrived several minutes prior to appointment time with husband (USC) and kids (USC and K2). Security had us read through the coronavirus sheet and answer questions like did anyone have a fever recently. Went inside and had to power off phone and go through metal detectors before being told to sit and wait until we are called in the waiting lobby. We had forgot to send them with the AOS packet and he said it was fine so long as we had them now at the interview. He opened the sealed envelopes from the Dr and examined the papers in them. He asked a few questions to me like how did we meet and if we had any additional evidence to add. We brought along a few extra photos and he went through them and asked wh... read complete review

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Very good experience thankfully. Everyone from security to our interviewing officer were quite friendly. I think we got started right around our appointment time (phone had to be off in the waiting room and no clock so I can't be certain). The interview itself was fairly stress-free, I want to say it took about an hour. He asked us for "our story" and just let us talk to him about. Asked for any additional documents, we told him what we had (which was everything we could possibly think of) and he took the lease, bank statements, utility bills, insurance information. Theme seemed to just be important stuff with both our names on it and our current address. He looked at some of the photos from the original application, but didn't ask to see any of the new ones we brought. He asked us a couple times when we were married, but there wasn't really any grilling for facts. Then he went over the whole I485 application, asked my wife to verify her answers to the application, and we were good to ... read complete review
